St. Jude is committed to providing ALL players with opportunities to learn to play ice hockey, to develop and enhance their skills, and to reach their full potential both on and off the ice. St. Jude began its first all girls program in the spring of 2013 and is excited to expand that program for the upcoming season. 

All girls on any St. Jude house or travel program will be invited to periodic girls-only skates throughout the season. 

In addition, St. Jude plans on forming a Girls U12 team for the 2014-15 season that will compete in NIHL and be coached by Jackie Wedster-Kooistra. The team will be structured to allow girls who are selected to the team to play exclusively with that team OR to double-roster on the Girls U12 team and a co-ed team that is appro-priate for the player’s skill level.
