On Monday, July 4th a number of St. Jude Hockey families took part in the annual Village of Oak Lawn 4th of July Parade.  Over 25 girls and boys who currently play hockey for St. Jude participated in the parade, accompanied by their parents and families.  Some walked and some roller bladed, all wearing St. Jude jerseys and spirit wear. Kids and families engaged with the spectators by distributing over 1,110 bottles of ice cold water and hundreds of St. Jude business cards.  Parents volunteered to help carry three St. Jude Hockey banners, which lead the procession. 

Everyone had a lot of fun and contributed to helping share positive information about the St. Jude Hockey organization to local community members in Oak Lawn.  This parade was broadcast by the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce and replayed on a local cable channel.
