The Little Knights Program embraces the American Development Model (ADM) for teaching children (typically 5-12 years old) how to play hockey. The ADM Model was created by USA Hockey and is also utilized in Canada and Europe. It is a nationwide model for successfully developing American hockey players. We strongly believe that implementing this program will ensure every child will have a chance to succeed and develop a passion for the game of hockey.
The Little Knights ADM program is geared towards players who are inexperienced at playing hockey. This is a great program to teach players the skills to develop the essentials of hockey.
Tom Whalen is the St. Jude Knights ADM Director and has designed and will help run the program with Michele Boyce and the Knights coaching staff. Please email Tom or Michele with any questions.
*** Please note your child will need to graduate a learn-to-skate class before particpating in a ADM class ***
