St. Jude Hockey Club

House League is our developmental/recreational hockey program. The emphasis of House league is on individual player development. All
players are to receive equal ice time. Time commitment is approximately 2 - 3 hours per week for either practices and/or games, generally on
the weekend. Power skate/Goalie clinic is during the week. Home games are played at both Southwest Ice Arena or Oak Lawn Ice Arena. Away games will be played at
other local rinks vs. other clubs.
House league cost includes the following:

• 16 SSHL games plus referees (Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam) or 14 SSHL games (Mite)
• At least one play-off game
• A minimum of 2-3 hours of ice per week
• A pair of House socks and player’s admission to the end of the season banquet plus trophy
• Included is a Power Skate every week and Goalie instruction
• Price per player is dependent upon the number of skaters on a team and amount of ice per team:
• The price does not include jerseys. New players must purchase two (one home, one away) St. Jude jerseys. Returning House players may use their jerseyspurchased last year.

In addition, House league teams may participate in up to two in-state tournaments at an additional cost. House teams may participate in one team fundraiser with the board’s approval.These events are optional. Out of pocket house team fees may not exceed $250.00 per player.
